Family Nights

Prepare to be astonished as a soda bottle is crushed by the atmosphere. Get ready to be blown away as a hot-air balloon is made from a dry-cleaning bag. Watch a vortex generator at work, ride a hovercraft and see how pressure can be used to create cinematic special effects. It’s all possible when you send kids “Up, Up and Away!”
Let’s face it, teaching science can be difficult. How can dry, scientific concepts come to life in a fun way? That's where Mad Science comes in. The presentations of Bellevue-based Mad Science use terms, phrases and language that kids understand and demonstrate scientific concepts in bold, innovative ways that draw children into the exciting world of possibility and discovery!
Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, Si View Community Center 400 SE Orchard Drive, North Bend Performance starts at 7 p.m.
